North Shore Reaching Sailing School is thrilled to introduce Neil Walsh of Sailing Swami. Moored at Meaford Harbour, students will have the opportunity to sail gorgeous Georgian Bay with instructor Neil Walsh onboard his 35' Jeanneau and obtain certification in American Sailing Association courses ASA 101, 103, 104, 105 and 106.

Meet Neil Walsh
|
Neil began sailing as a teenager by cleaning boats in exchange for time on the water. At 18, he purchased his first boat, a trailerable Siren 17' and has since owned several boats both here in Canada and the Caribbean. Over the past 40 years, he has sailed in many exotic places around the world on monohulls, catamarans and even as crew on a 157' 3-masted schooner during an Atlantic delivery to the Caribbean. Now retired, he enjoys sailing and teaching on his 35' sloop on Georgian Bay and chartering boats in far flung destinations including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asia and French Polynesia. With a desire to share his skills, knowledge and love of sailing, he became an ASA instructor and gets his greatest enjoyment seeing students discover the fundamentals and realize their dreams of sailing.
